Hadrian Hotel

A bright, modern, comfortable hotel that clings to the edge of the rock at the far end of Çukurbağ Peninsula, a 4-km-long spit of rock off the west side of the attractive harbour of Kaş. The sea is all around you, and it has a stunningly deep rich colour. The Greek island of Castellorizo is a mere 1.5 miles from the Turkish coast at this point.

Like all other buildings on the development-planned peninsula, Hadrian is built in low blocks that approximate the traditional style of Kaş houses. The sunny courtyard, covered by heaps of purple bougainvillea, exploits the location to full panoramic effect. A large and classy swimming pool at its centre serves as the focal point of social life. A platform on the rocky ledge gives access to the sea, which is very deep and well-suited for snorkelling and diving.
The energetic Mr Kızılkaya and his German wife offer a hospitable and informal atmosphere to their guests. Activities include boat trips and excursions into the Taurus mountains.
