Kaya’s House

Sille was once a separate district 8 km. from the centre of Konya, but it has now been absorbed by the city. A local couple inherited this stone-and-brick house and transformed it into a charming guesthouse. They spared no effort to make it inviting.

No sign of concrete anywhere: bricks were left exposed inside the house and on the garden wall. They designed the bathrooms themselves, adorned the walls with mirrors and pictures, and spent much elbow grease painting the beams and floors. Satellite TV channels, a fireplace, a toaster and even the old record player: all the elements are there to guarantee a pleasant stay. They rent the house in its entirety. It has 3 bedrooms which sleep 5 people.
