In recent years, Bozcaada has become a favourite destination for city dwellers who want to experience a temporary return to nature. Several farm-turned-hotels have cropped up to meet the demand. Pelazzi Farm is the latest follower of this trend. Like its competitors it offers orchards and flowers aplenty on 10,000 m2 of land.

The inevitable rooster is also available to make the wake up call, as well as goats, hens and even a Van can. The formula may not be new, but it works. Ayazma and Sulubahçe beaches are within walking distance, and there are trails for leisurely bicycle rides. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms marble-clad. As befits a rural retreat, the food on offer is organic and home-grown. Local Bozcaada wine is a key ingredient of the rural experience.
