Ararat Hotel

Istanbul's Ararat Hotel is a small, intimate, artistic boutique hotel directly across the street from Istanbul's famous Blue Mosque in Sultanahmet Square.

Each of our 11 guest rooms, and one suite, has its own character, and all have been individually designed and decorated with Byzantine-inspired murals and color accents by Athenian artist Nikos Papadakis, who also designed the interior of Istanbul's popular Hotel Empress Zoe. (The painting above is an example of Mr Papadakis's Byzantine-inspired art.)

All of our guest accommodations have private bathrooms, direct-dial telephones, individually-controlled air conditioning, and double-glazed windows for weather- and sound-proofing.

Four of our rooms have views of the Blue Mosque, and two have views of the Sea of Marmara. The views are even better from our rooftop terrace bar and lounge: panoramic views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Sea of Marmara. We even have a fireplace here for chilly winter evenings.

Let us know your flight arrival details, and we'll send a car and driver to Istanbul's Atatürk International Airport to meet you, help you with your luggage, and drive you directly to the Ararat Hotel. (The charge for this transfer service is €40 in cash —more than a taxi, but it's more pleasant and secure than a taxi.)
